Abigail Ayodele

Abigail’s PhD research utilizes CRISPR-Cas9 technology to uncover the role of O-GlcNAcylation in proteins within living cells, advancing our understanding of O-GlcNAc in various physiological states. Beyond the lab, she is an outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant who is a recipient of the Herbert K. Livingston Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is also an active member of WSU’s NOBCChE, where she enjoys inspiring the next generation of scientists through K-12 outreach programs across the Detroit area. In her free time, Abigail loves listening to music, making memories with friends, and discovering new culinary experiences.
