A proud native of Buffalo, NY, Jess moved to Michigan in 2012 to complete her graduate work under the supervision of John Montgomery at the University of Michigan. Jess is passionate about science education and taught for two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Kalamazoo College before joining the Fehl lab. In her free time, Jess enjoys cooking, completing DIY projects, and searching for the best chicken wings in Michigan.
